Why We Started This Work

Back in 2017, I was helping a friend who couldn't figure out why they always ran out of money before payday. They had spreadsheets, apps, and good intentions, but nothing clicked.

That's when I realized the problem wasn't the tools — it was that most budgeting advice assumes everyone thinks about money the same way. Some people are visual learners, others need simple rules, and many just want to know they're doing okay without obsessing over every dollar.

We built klydexanovi around the idea that financial education should be practical, not perfect. Your budget doesn't need to be a work of art; it just needs to work for your life.
